Full day in Grafton

Hi Fand F ,
We were blessed with another lovely sunny day again.
Must be third such day in a row. Nice to get away from the thunderstorms !
Erica got up early and made a walk up behind the town where she came across a wonderful vineyard perched up on the top of a steep hill with wonderful views of the river and surrounding countryside.
.
Erica took several photos as you can see and returned to the boat with a plan to go there with our group in the early evening for drinks and a light supper.
Also Erica had found out there was a golf course nearby , called Rolling Hills and we made a plan to go with Terri and Jim and makeup a foursome. As the courtesy car was already booked til 2 pm, we planned to leave then.
In the meantime they guys were cleaning the boats and Terri and Etica went off to explore the town.Several fun stores including a new one housed in the old bank building which sold Amish wooden furniture , toys, and other interesting items.
They had a best rocking chairs ! Terri and Erica purchased some items for their grandsons .They are close in age.
Later we four left for the golf course and had a great time playing a nine executive hole course .
We had never come across such a course !
They had two tee boxes ( white and red) and two pins on the greens. One pin had a normal hole , the other a hole twice as big!

Terri tried the easy one and the rest of us the whites tees and regular holes.
